About Man+Kind

For Breast Cancer Carers

Finding out your loved one has breast cancer is probably one of the most difficult things we will have have to go through and the experience may leave you feeling overwhelmed and lost.

It is hoped Man+Kind will be safe place for you to find help and share experiences of being a carer for someone diagnosed with breast cancer. Though shared experiences we can find some comfort and be better able to help your loved one as you both go through this uncertain time of fear and worry.

The podcasts and blogs aim to provide help in two ways. Firstly by sharing practical tips and advice to help us look after our partners and how to get through different aspects of the cancer journey.

The second element draws on faith in Jesus. Caring for your loved one can be a dark and lonely place and may lead you to ask some searching questions about life. This section provides advice and guidance on how suffering and prayer can bring you closer to the love of God, where you can find hope, love and the strength to endure.

Drawing from my own experiences as a husband, this site primarily targets male caregivers. However, we truly hope that individuals in diverse caregiving roles will also find the presented information to be valuable in their unique contexts.
